Throughout my working life I've developed a creative system of copywriting
for a wide range of customers.
Those clients have included:
multiple airlines , fast food outlets , realtors , lawyers
engine re-manufacturers, restaurants , hotels, opticians
medical facilities, auto dealerships, small manufacturers
large distribution centers , a winery, newspapers and
the government of Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific.
In Papua New Guinea, I created and implemented a Voter Education Program for the 3.4 million people living in the jungles of the country without electricity. It was the largest logistical exercise in the country since World War II with 100 teams providing a 28 minute film in three languages, powered by a hand cranked alternator system.
I love a challenge and that was my biggest by far. It was also my most successful according to the annual report by the World Bank as 74% of the of registered voters turned out at the following National Elections.

THE GODS OF ADVENTURE…
A familiar old sign, registers deeply on my mind,
Bringing forth memories that prove to remind,
All things change, so they can remain the same
Or so I want to think in this town so tame.
Sounding his horn, an old friend welcomes me home,
While wondering to himself how far I had roamed.
A reflection of me floats along in store windows,
Showing off the sophistication I bring to all venues.
Cartwheeling maple leafs swirl and dance by my feet,
While my scarf salutes the wind with a snap and a flourish.
Puddles left by the rain, are now set to retreat,
As I wonder where the drops last kissed the earth they so cherish.
The chill autumn wind swirls around my throat,
As if to bring out some history of my life in a quote.
My eyes now are focusing on the address I seek,
Hoping my upcoming reception will be far from bleak.
Long vanished smiles, resurrect themselves out of past time,
And bring with them emotions long suppressed by design.
I'm wondering what style of face will recognize mine,
Warm or stern, for the years that have past, even cool will be fine,
My knuckles feel cold and hard when I knock,
On the red door that to my future it now blocks.
I wait for the sound of a step coming forward,
To welcome or refuse this countenance once adored.
The opening portal seems to breath gently from within,
Circling me with scents of apples covered in cinnamon.
With a wisk, the door swings wide, and there to greet me,
stands many moments from my past, all contained In her beauty.
Her eyes, though grown older, seemed to flash and to sparkle
As my mother reached out to embrace me completely
My regrets of few letters, and fewer calls were undoing me,
As I hugged her tightly just glad she wasn't being stately.
Anticipations of rejection, of scorn and dejection,
Were swept away with her smiles and friendly attentions.
Coming home to this castle of serenity was completed,
Now it was my turn to blend into its warmth and entreaty,
The gods of adventure to let me rest in this town I had so pitied.
